What do YOU want Housewifery to be?
I'm so very excited. In just a couple of days I'll be doing my very first giveaway on Housewifery. Even better, I've got a few more lined up after that. Are you excited?
Now it's time that I ask you for YOUR advice! What sort of postings would you like to see on Housewifery?
Do you like Instructional posts?
Tips?
Long rambling posts where I talk about myself?
I really want to know. Tell me, and it's yours.
Before the holidays another Blogger asked me to do use my tiny bit of experience as a Pin-up model to do a Pinup Makeup Tutorial, would you be interested in things like that? Are you all interested in other facets of "vintage" life besides housewifery?
I know that I am brimming with ideas but I really want to know what you think. So... tell me!
I'll choose one suggestion as the winner of my very first giveaway!

I love instructional posts, things I wouldn't have thought to ever do, and how to do them! Just like the pin up make-up idea that's perfect!
Interesting blogs usually have little stories about something funny or unusual that has happened to the blogger, or how they came about to find the idea on what they are posting...does that make sense?
I love all the pictures you find to put on your blog, so as long as those stick around so will I :)
I look forward to knowing what you are giving away!
I love the tips and instructional posts. I would very much like instructional posts on pin-up hair. I try to do my hair that way, but I have no direction and am a complete failure when it comes to styling hair...I'd love to do it. Also, your little tips about around-the-house, like the post about buying seasonal air fresheners, are great (I stocked up on fall and winter scents of the Febreeze Noticibles!). Anything that makes housewifery even more fun for me is great!
I like posts that make my life simpler. Easy recipes, shortcuts to cleaning, how to look great in 5 minutes. Just easy stuff that saves me time and energy.
I love instructional posts as well...really fun and helpful! I am a newly single mother who is about to buy her first house on my own, so I'd love some ideas on fixing up and decorating vintage on a budget. I'd also love to see some more ideas on vintage homekeeping (routines and such) that I can use as a full-time working mom :) I'm obsessed with vintage but with the new life changes, I have to modify!
Thank you!

I also like instructional posts, whether they are links to someone telling/showing, or your own story about how you did it. as it says in your description, "working smarter and enjoying the work. It's about being stylish and crafty and creative and smart." Those are all things I strive to be!
Personally, I'd like the blog to encompass every part of house wifery. So, keeping house, looking good for partner (your tutorial sounds fab), favourite recipes, and I personally like the long rambling type entries too.

I would like things about how life was and how to make my life just that bit easier with some household tips.
I would like any tips and scans of items from the time. Living in 1955, as you may know from my blog, I am always researching 40s and 50s so any other source for housekeeping, clothes/hair/makeup, fashion, cooking, entertaining is good for me. I know I try to do a little of it all on my blog and I always like a good dose of personal life situation thrown in, why not? Keep up the good work.
A little bit of everything having to do with a vintage lifestyle. I've just discovered your blog and I like your style of writing - I'd say keep that up because it is very welcoming and personal.
I love instructional posts. I would be thrilled to see more on the charm school lessons you found. Your personal stories are always charming, as well; keep up with the great work!
